Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is a flowering shrub cultivated for its healing properties and natural dyeing abilities. Known also as mehndi or henna tattoos, it has a rich history of use that dates back over 6,000 years. The color produced by henna ranges from various reddish-brown shades and can last up to two weeks. Henna tattoos are popular for sharing a fun experience with loved ones, adorning the body, or marking special occasions and celebrations.

Jagua(Genipa Americana)

Jagua is a rainforest fruit that Indigenous tribes have cultivated for thousands of years, valued for its medicinal properties and its ability to safely dye food, hair, and skin a dark blue-black hue. When applied to the skin, Jagua has a fascinating quality: the design initially fades after the top layer of ink is washed off, only to reemerge hours later. Its resemblance to tattoos has made it a popular choice for those looking to experiment with a design before committing to permanent ink.

***Jagua is not the so called "Black Henna." It is a 100% natural product and contains no harmful chemicals such as P.P.D.

*Care instructions:

1. Wash & exfoliate skin prior to application.

2. After your Jagua design is applied, be very mindful not to let anything touch it until it has dried (approx. 30-45 minutes.)

3. Leave Jagua gel on to set for 2-4 hours.

4. Avoid getting it wet or touching it during this time.

5. After 2-4 hours, remove Jagua gel under cool to warm running water.

Once gel is off use a mild soap to remove any residue.

ALMOST INVISIBLE AT FIRST, Jagua's midnight blue color will develop in 6-24 hours.

With proper care, Jagua designs can last up to 14 days!

**Do not sleep with Jagua gel on. Smudging, sweating, exposure to water or sleeping while gel is on can result in an alteration of design or transferring it to other areas.

** Protect with a natural oil, lotion or balm when swimming.
