Henna (Lawsonia inermis)

Henna is a time-honored, flowering plant known for its natural healing properties and rich history that spans over 6,000 years. Beyond its beautiful reddish-brown stain, henna has long been used as a tool for self-expression, celebration, and the setting of powerful intentions. Whether you're seeking to mark a special occasion, empower your journey, or simply adorn your body with meaningful designs, henna art offers a sacred way to connect with your inner desires. The intricate patterns can last up to two weeks, serving as a temporary yet lasting reminder of the intentions and transformations you are inviting into your life.

*Care instructions:

Care Instructions:

2. After the henna paste is applied, allow it to dry for approximately 10-20 minutes.

4. During this time, avoid touching or getting the paste wet.

*After the removal of henna paste, do not get the design wet for at least 12 hours.

* Henna yields darker results with body heat..keep warm.

* Protect with a natural oil, lotion or balm when swimming.

Jagua (Genipa Americana)

Jagua is a rare, rainforest fruit with a deep cultural significance, cultivated by Indigenous tribes for thousands of years. Revered for its medicinal properties, jagua also offers a unique dark blue-black hue that safely dyes food, hair, and skin. When applied to the skin, jagua’s magic unfolds in two stages: the design initially fades after the first wash, only to gradually reemerge with rich, bold color hours later. This fascinating transformation has made jagua a popular choice for those eager to experiment with tattoo-like designs without the permanence, offering a temporary yet striking way to express personal style or intentions.

***Jagua is not the so called "Black Henna." It is a 100% natural product and contains no harmful chemicals such as P.P.D.

*Care instructions:

1. Wash & exfoliate skin prior to application.

2. After your Jagua design is applied, be very mindful not to let anything touch it until it has dried (approx. 30-45 minutes.)

3. Leave Jagua gel on to set for 2-4 hours.

4. Avoid getting it wet or touching it during this time.

5. After 2-4 hours, remove Jagua gel under cool to warm running water.

Once gel is off use a mild soap to remove any residue.

ALMOST INVISIBLE AT FIRST, Jagua's midnight blue color will develop in 6-24 hours.

With proper care, Jagua designs can last up to 14 days!

**Do not sleep with Jagua gel on. Smudging, sweating, exposure to water or sleeping while gel is on can result in an alteration of design or transferring it to other areas.

** Protect with a natural oil, lotion or balm when swimming.
